9/27/09: This Sunday, Pastor Betzer preached about anger and bitterness. My favorite story this week has to be when Pastor was 15 years old in 1952, playing basketball and getting beat up because of something he said! What is the first step to controlling anger? Keep your mouth shut! How many times have we heard a variation of the expression “Even idiots who keep quiet are thought to be wise; as long as they keep their mouths shut, they look smart.”? Well it happens to be a verse, Proverbs 17:28. It turns out, it was anger that kept Moses from going in the Promised land. That’s all for this week’s Sunday Sermon tidbit.
