Peninsular Florida District Youth Convention

Plan now to attend this year’s Youth Convention at the Shingle Creek Resort in Orlando. The Convention will feature guest speaker Rev.Wayne Northup. Wayne is the President of Answering The Cries, a non-profit ministry that exists to “win souls and raise up lifetime soul-winners.” After speaking to over half a million students across the world, he is comfortable in many different types of settings. He regularly speaks in public schools, large youth conferences, and Sunday morning services. With a combination of his crazy humor as well as his ability to dive into your heart, he is being used in a radical way. Wayne is known as a speaker, mentor, strategist, and most of all intense Christ-follower.
The band Doubting Benefit will be providing a late night concert. Doubting Benefit is a Christian rock band from Daytona Beach who have been around for the past three years making a name for themselves. Though they are a young band (the average age being 20), they have shared the stage with some heavy hitters such as Flyleaf and Falling Up and placed 1st in the 2008 National Fine Arts Festival Christian Band competition. You can now get their EP “A Saint is just A Sinner”, and they are looking to book shows all around the US and tour the world reaching out to millions.

There will be three main sessions at the Convention:
Friday, Nov. 20 at 7:30 and 10:30PM, and Saturday at 10:00AM.
