What is Speed the Light?

The concept is simple: we give so others can speed the light of the gospel to a world in darkness. This is accomplished by providing the “essential transportation and creative communication” equipment for missionary evangelism. Through modern transportation, radio, television, the printed word and equipment for mass evangelism, our missionaries can better fulfill the great commission.

There are three ways in which you can get involved and help us raise money money in the Bike-a-thon on Jan. 30th:

PARTICIPATE: Sign up to participate on the 50 mile bike trek across Ft. Myers and Estero. Only 16 yrs of age and up please. (This ride will be at your own risk) Every participant will need at least one sponsor with a minimum of $100 raised.

SPONSOR PER-MILE: Can’t make the trip? You can still help us by sponsoring a biker and donating an amount of at least $1 for every mile!

BUSINESS SPONSORS: Businesses who donate to Speed the Light will have their company advertised. A donation of $50 – $99 will put your company name on the back of the rider’s T-shirts. A donation of $100+ will get your company name on the back of the T-shirt and on a sign placed along the route on the day of the ride.
