What an amazing two weeks we have had in our services and “Block” groups through the Hidden Desire series. If your missed then; You really missed it! The first week we looked at James 1:13-16 and how this verse shows us to expect that there will  be temptation (vs.1), to own the responsibility taming and directing our sexual desires in to the right place (vs.1) and then to understand the schemes that our enemy is devising to capture us in this sin. (vs. 14 &15) (2 Cor. 2:11) We also looked at four lies that we have bought into in our society and culture about sexual temptation and lust a encouraging you to change the way you believe and think on these issues. In the second week we looked at sexual temptation being a cheap imitation of something that is very real. We turned to 2 Samuel 11 to look at some defining moments in David’s life when faced with sexual temptation of Bathsheba. They are:

Do I look or do I leave.

Do I cover up or come clean.

Will I be hooked or will I be healed. (Proverbs 26:11)

Will I chose Guilt or will I chose grace.
