Student Ministries Pastor
Gabriel Zamora was pulled out of an extreme background of gangs, violence and poverty and called into the ministry at the age of 13 at Youth For The Nations Summer Camp. With the mandate of loving like he was loved, Gabriel became the youth pastor of Takeover Student Ministries at Gracepoint Gospel Fellowship in New City, NY. This vibrant and growing youth ministry tripled under his leadership and has transitioned average seat-warming students into radical lovers of Jesus. He has been in ministry for over ten years and is now currently the Student Ministries Pastor at First Assembly of God in Fort Myers, Florida. Pastor Gabriel is a graduate from Christ For The Nations Institute where he served as student body president, as well as the leader of the Evangelism student ministry. He has ministered nationally and internationally in over 17 countries and is passionate about seeing the person of Jesus revealed in and through every believer with power and demonstration of the finished work of the Cross, he is a voice and an example for his generation to follow. Gabriel has been married for five years to his beautiful wife Domonique Zamora.
KAIO 6.8 Director
Minnesota born and raised on a vegetable farm, Aaron came to Fort Myers in 2009 to attend the Florida School of Discipleship (formerly Fort Myers Master’s Commission) here at First Assembly. He was fortunate to grow up in a Christian home with a wonderful family of eight. During his time here, Aaron grew in his walk with God and had the opportunity to be trained for the ministry he knew he was called to do. Aaron also had the privilege to meet his wonderful wife, Jesenia, at First Assembly and was married in October of 2012. Having been involved in KAIO student ministries since coming to Southwest Florida, he and his wife happily accepted the position as the Junior High Directors in April of 2013. Their heart and passion is to see young people develop a relationship with God, and to encourage them to be students who live out the mission of Jesus.
Janice has called First Assembly her church home for over 30 years. Janice began volunteering in youth ministry in 1982 and it was there that God placed a love and a passion in her heart for the youth of Fort Myers.
Janice is currently serving as the Ministry Coordinator and Fine Arts director for KAIO Student Ministries. Janice loves to encourage students to discover and develop their passions and talents for the Lord.
Janice is also involved with creating and coordinating drama presentations and community outreach events here at First Assembly.
When Janice is not working at First Assembly, her favorite place to be is at home with her husband Ed and two amazing boys, Eddie and Dusty, and her lovely daughter-in-law, Melony.
